Culture, Politics, and Economics in the E.U.
Andrea Van Winkle
The European Union (E.U.) is comprised of many different countries and cultures. How do these differences affect the political atmosphere and the economic development of the E.U. as a single united entity? Will these differences strengthen or weaken the position of the E.U. in the global economy? What effect will the different economic conditions of each of these countries have in E.U. policy development? How effective can one united monetary policy be when there are multiple fiscal policies?
These questions are among many that will be explored from multiple viewpoints to address the ultimate question: What does the future of the E.U. look like? Critical thinking skills, analytical skills, and communication skills will be utilized to explore and discuss this multifaceted issue. WC
