The Department of Art at Concordia is comprised of faculty of a wide range of interests and specialties.  The studio faculty are all active, working artists, represented in a variety of exhibitions and public and private collections, and the art historian is deeply engaged in art history and art studio scholarship.  Studio courses are maintained at a low faculty to student ratio, so that individual attention is the norm.  Art History offerings include a variety of western and non-western courses, and the department's art historian leads a May Seminar Abroad in most years.
