Concordia wins 70-67 at St. Olaf
Concordia improved to 4-4 in the MIAC, 6-6 overall, with a 70-67 win at St. Olaf in Northfield. St. Olaf fell to 1-6 in the MIAC, 1-10 overall.
In another of the many nail biters that have marked the Cobbers' season, Joe Ford hit a 12 foot jumper with 14 seconds left in the game to put the Cobbers up 68-67. After an Olaf miss with one second left Concordia's Matt Anderson was fouled and hit two free throws to set the final margin. Concordia had posted a 33-29 half-time lead but the game was a nip and tuck game all the way.
Jeff Ubben led the Cobbers with 23 points, 15 in the second half.
