Jenni Kovash Sr. Moorhead, Minn. Named to the NCAA Division III All-American second team.

Jill Conrad Fr. Richland, Wash. Named to the NCAA Division III All-American third team after finishing tied for tenth at the national meet.

5/18 Concordia Golfers Earn All-American Honors
Concordia standout golfers Jenni Kovash (Sr., Moorhead, Minn.) and Jill Conrad (Fr., Richland, Wash.) were named to the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American team. Kovash earned second team honors, while Conrad capped an impressive run in the spring by being placed on the third team. Kovash and teammates Maria Amlen (Sr., Stockholm, Sweden) and Tanya Ulvin (So., Roseau, Minn.) were also named to the NGCA Scholar All-American team.

For Kovash it is the second straight year that she has earned both All-American and Scholar All-American honors. The two awards cap an impressive career at Concordia where she finished no lower than sixth at the three MIAC championships she participated in, and in the top 30 of all three national tournaments. She led the Cobbers to back-to-back second place finishes at the NCAA Division III Championship meets, and was a three-time MIAC academic all-conference award winner.

Conrad earns All-American honors in her first season at Concordia. She ended the spring on a tear by finishing fourth at the Minnesota State Meet, winning the Bemidji Spring Meet and finishing in a tie for 10th place at the national meet. She is only the eighth golfer in Concordia history to finish in the top ten at a national meet.
