Cobbers Lose Rain-Filled Game With MSU-Moorhead 2-0.
Concordia allowed two goals less than a minute apart late in the second half, and lost a rain-soaked game with MSU-Moorhead 2-0.

The Dragons scored on two set pieces with just over 10 minutes to go in the game to break the scoreless tie and come away with the victory. Kim Boelke's free kick from just outside the penalty area curled in the side of the net at 79:44. The Dragon's then scored off a corner kick just 52 seconds later to finish the scoring.

The game was plagued by heavy rain showers in the second half as both teams tried to play throught the inclimate weather. Cobber keeper Kathy Braun (Sr., Willmar, Minn.) made several key saves to stop MSU-Moorhead from scoring early.

Concordia falls to 4-2 on the year and returns to MIAC on Sunday when they host Gustavus at 1:00. MSU-Moorhead climbs to 3-5 and will host on UM-Crookston on September 30th.
