Meet Info -
Concordia College will host the M.B. Johnson Park Cross Country Meet for men and women on Friday, August 30, 2002.

Date: Friday, August 30, 2002

Races: 4:00 p.m. Men 8000 Meters
 4:30 p.m. Women 5000 Meters

Course: M.B. Johnson Park is 1 mile North of Moorhead.  Take exit #1 off of I-94 and go North on 8th St.  At Main Ave. (Dairy Queen), turn Right.  After 3 blocks, turn left on 11th St.  Go North for approximately 2 miles, past the Moorhead Country Club and cemeteries.  Johnson Park will be on your left.

 Maps will be available at the shelter.  Almost exclusively grass course with short sections of dirt/mud.  Runners must cross asphalt roadway within the park.  Women will run a three section course where one loop repeats.  Men will run a 3K between two sections and then go into the women’s 5K course.

Entry Info: No entry fee.  Unlimited runners.  Please send a list of runners (first <space> last) by Thursday, August 29, 2002, 7:00 p.m.  Please include all possible names as it is easier to delete than to add.  Each runner will wear a bib # with a tear off portion for the finish line.

Timing: Two printing watches at finish line with a videocamera back-up to decipher place if necessary.  Please keep moving in the shoot.

Results: Results will be available at Concordia College Memorial Auditorium, Room 204 (Marv’s and Garrick’s Office) as soon as possible after the meet.  Results will be emailed to you.  Results will also be posted on the web post meet.

Awards: None

Bathrooms: Portable bathrooms are available within the park.  No dressing or shower facilities are available at the park.  Teams wishing to dress and/or shower at the Concordia Olson Forum may do so.

Athletic Training:  We will likely have a staff OR student athletic trainer at the Park.  They will have limited supplies, please bring your own if possible.
