11/27 Concordia (1-2) lost 83-65 Friday night to host Nebraska Wesleyan
at the Thanksgiving Snyder Classic in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nebraska
Wesleyan moved to 3-0 with the win. The Cobbers trailed by just 2 at the
half, 34-32.
Concordia will take on Hastings (Nebraska) Saturday night at 6:00 in the second and final night of the Classic. Hastins was a 84-69 winner over Washington U. Friday night.
Concordia was led tonight by freshman Jeff Ubben's 12 points. Three other Cobbers each added 10 points, Kermit Cooper, Brian Kesselring and Micah Benson. Ubben also led the Cobbers in rebounding with 6. Joe ford had 9 points for the Cobbers.
Wesleyan was led by Cory Adams (20 points, 8 rebounds) and Ryan Means (18 points, and 7 rebounds).

Cobbers win 102-75 over Hastings
Jeff Ubben led the Cobbers with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Concordia is now 2-2 on the year. Hastings is 4-6. The Cobbers led 52-32 at the half.
Other leaders for Concordia were Kermit Cooper with 15 points and 6 rebounds, Joe Ford and Brian Kesselring with 12 points each and Mike Wrobel with 8 points and 6 rebounds. All 13 Cobbers on the roster scored. Micah Benson had 9 points and 4 assists.
Cobbers dominate Hastings
LINCOLN, Neb. - Jeff Ubben scored 20 points and hauled in eight rebounds to help Concordia blow past Hastings 102-75 Saturday in the final day of the Nebraska-Wesleyan men's basketball tournament.
Besides Ubben, 13 other players scored for the Cobbers, including Kermit Cooper, who added 15 points and pulled down six rebounds.
Concordia was able to build a 20-point halftime lead, due in large
part to shooting 55 percent from the floor, compared to Hastings hitting
just 37 percent of its shots.
