Kyle Odermann, the 6' 0" 190 lb. quarterback, was one of seven Concordia Cobbersnamed to the All-MIAC team. Concordia, who won a share of the conference title for the first time since 1990, advanced to the first round of the Division III playoffs before losing to UW-La Crosse 45-7.
One of this year's captains of the team was Odermann, who in his senior year, completed 121 of 242 passes for 1,463 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was also an effective rusher as he gained 580 yards, averaging 4.8 yards per run while scoring six touchdowns.
Odermann's career statistics are also impressive. He passed for 4,198 yards in three years of starting at quarterback with 30 touchdown passes. His running game improved each year as he gained a total of 1,345 yards and scored 15 touchdowns on the ground in his career. In all, he accumulated 5,583 yards while at Concordia.
Odermann, a Dickinson Trinity graduate in 1992, is an economics major. He is the son of James and Ledna Odermann of Belfield, ND.
