Another third year starter, Eric is slated to man the free safety position again this year. His intelligence and experience is invaluable to a defense facing complex coverages and formations to adjust to each game.
8/25/98 Eric begins the 1998 season as a team co-captain and one of only two returning starters in the Cobbers' defensive backfield. He is coming recovered from off-season shoulder surgery.
12/16/97 Eric was named a Co-Captain of the 1998 Cobber football team at the team's annual awards banquet last night. The team captains are chosen by a vote of the team. The other co-captain for 1998 is Ethan Pole.
Eric missed his freshman season with a staph infection and has one year of eligibility remaining.

What he lacks in size he makes up with quickness, intelligence, and hitting
