The Scout reported that spring football is carried on each year
at Concordia. It is the purpose of the coach to teach the fundamentals
of the game. At the sessions in the gym, the graduating lettermen assist
the coach in demonstrations. The outside work consists of work on the fundamentals.
Spring football serves as a coaching school to graduating players. Prospective
football coaches are given squads to develop under the direction of Coach
Watkins.
