In the fall of 1965 the football team took second place in the MIAC
with a 5 - 2 record, having an overall record of 6 - 2. Jake Christiansen
was the coach of the team and co-captains were Bob Windell and Bob Braun.
Bob Windell was the team’s MVP and Dave Heide
led the MIAC in scoring.

The 1965-1966 hockey team played a seven-game schedule and their only
win was a 3 - 1 victory over St. Cloud. Freezing temperatures kept
the team from practicing on their outside rink. Those on the team
were B. Nielson, C. Watkins, J. Addison, J. Schultz, C. Hedlund, W. Orn,
B. Flovick, G. Johnson, Al. Marotta, P. Robilotta, F. Haiker, M. Naylor
and B. Donley.

Finn Grinaker’s 1965-1966 wrestling team won the Carleton Invitational
and placed second in the Luther Invitational and had an 8 - 1 - 2 record
in dual meets. Howard Leopold won
second place in the NAIA national tournament. The team roster included
