Assistant Cobber Men's Golf Coach Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson served as Concordia's head Men's Golf coach from 1997 through the spring of 1999.  In the fall of 1999 he began serving as the team's assistant coach, under head coach Peter Hovde.

Mark, a Class "A" PGA professional since March of 1995, is the Head Professional at The Meadows Golf Club in Moorhead, where he has served since December of 1995.

Johnson is a 1987 graduate of Shanley High School in Fargo and a 1991 Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Dakota. He was also a four-year letter winner and two-time All-NCC golfer for the Sioux.

Mark served as an assistant pro at Moorhead Country Club from 1990-1994 and the head golf coach and a golf instructor at Moorhead State from 1993-1995. In March of 1995 Mark was named an assistant pro at Southview Country Club in West St. Paul, where he served until November of 1995.

Mark is a member of the Minnesota PGA Section Board of Directors, the Minnesota PGA Section Education Committee, and the Minnesota PGA Section Junior Golf Committee.

Mark lives in Moorhead with his wife, Pamela.
