The Cobbers finished tied for 10th at the 11-team MIAC Championship Meet in St. Paul today. John Staub was the top Cobber finisher, coming in 59th in a time of 29:28.

"The young 1996 Concordia Men's Cross Country team will be looking
to build a solid foundation for the fall of 1997 and thereafter. Ten of
the eleven runners on this year's team are in their first or second season.
Look for second year people Josh Lowman and Johns Staub to be at the front
of the pack for the Cobbers in 1996. One more year of training and maturity
for this young group, combined with the return of veteran Bill Keating
(team captain and No. 1 runner) in 1997, will make the Cobbers very
competitive in the near future."
