9/6/98 Cobbers won 2-0 against Northland College of Wisconsin at St. John's today to capture the St. John's Tournament title. St. John's lost 1-0 to Briar Cliff today.

Josh Bergeron scored two goals as
the Cobbers picked up their second win
of the season. Bergeron scored 10
minutes into the game on a 25 yard
volley and then added the insurance goal in the 57th minute with an
assist from Todd Stebleton. Paul
Toso turned away all 5 Northland shots
to pick up his first shutout of the season.
