St. Johnís 2.5 Mile, St. Johnís University, October 23, 1998:

Concordia competed in a short race at St. Johnís in order to help rejuvinate their legs as well as work on a faster pace.  In the three team race Concordia finished 2nd behind nationally ranked St. Johnís and just ahead of Hamline.  In an outstanding race Chris Goebel (So., Albany, MN) finished 8th overall in 13:21 with Gabe Arntson (Jr., Fairmont, MN) right on his tail, 12th in 13:26.  Rounding out the top 5 runners all under 14:00 were Brian Klug, 17th-13:36, (Fr., Alexandria, MN/Jefferson H.S.), Brian Stotts, 20th-13:49, (Fr., Maple Grove, MN), and Brett Ramstad, 21st-13:51, (So., Fargo, ND/Fargo South H.S.)
