Buffalo River State Park Intrasquad, September 4, 1998:  Concordia tested their summer fitness in hot conditions at the Buffalo River State Park 5k.  Chris Goebel (So., Albany, MN) looked impressive covering the course in 16:33.  Close behind was Steve Edlund (So., Cyrus, MN/Morris H.S.) who finished in 16:41.  Dave Dahlseng (Fr., Cyrus, MN/Morris H.S.)
was the top Freshman finisher in 17:16, finishing 3rd overall.  Four other Freshman joined Dahlseng in the top 9; Brian Klug (Alexandria, MN/Jefferson H.S.), 5th; Brian Stotts (Maple Grove, MN), 6th; Jason Karls (Billings, MT/Central H.S.), 8th; Bernardo Salcido III
(Bakersfield, CA/Foothill H.S.), 9th.
