Key Losses
1997-98 All-MIAC senior center Leah Sonstelie ('98, Fosston). 13 pts
and 7 reb per game.
Leah ended the season with 1061 career points, 11th best in Cobber
history. She also had a career total of 543 rebounds, also 11th best in
Cobber history.

Season Outlook:
The Cobbers have seven returning players with extensive experience last
year, led by Sara Spears ('01, Spicer). She was last year's the leading
rebounder and second leading scorer with 10 points per game, and
was named to the MIAC's All-Freshman team. The Cobbers will try to
rely on quickness make up for their lack in size on the front line.
