Assistant Coach - Diving
Patrick Anderson joined the Concordia College women's swim staff in the fall of 2002.
Anderson brings a rich and diversified swimming and diving background to the program. As well as being an assistant for the Concordia team, he is currently the head coach of the Moorhead High School boys' swimming and diving team. Anderson is also the head coach for the Moorhead Marlins swim team, a position he has held since 1998. In 2002, Anderson guided the Spuds to the Section 8AA section championship and a berth at the Minnesota State Swimming and Diving Meet. He was named the MSHSL Section 8 Boys Coach of the Year in 2001 and 2002. He was also a nominee for the Class AA Coach of the Year during both of those years.
Before coming to Moorhead, Anderson was the assistant girls swim coach at Shakopee High School in the Twin Cities as well as a head coach in the Bloomington Aquatics Club program.
Besides his coaching honors, Anderson has also been a featured speaker
at many swimming and diving clinics throughout Minnesota and North Dakota.
He was elected to the Board of Directors of Minnesota Swimming in 1998
and was the Vice Chair of that group from 1998-99. He is currently a member
of the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association and the National
Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association.
