NORTHFIELD, Minn. (12/01/07)-- (Recap courtesy of Carleton SID)  Zach Johnson scored a game-high 27 points to lead Carleton College (5-0, 2-0 MIAC) to a 76-65 victory over victory over visiting Concordia College-Moorhead (1-5, 0-2 MIAC).

Johnson scored 15 second-half points and finished the afternoon with 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 5 steals. He now has 1,036 career points, which ranks 15th in school history.

Luke Linz led the Cobbers with 21 points, giving him 993 points for his career. Ryan Johnson and Erik Lien added 12 and 10 points respectively for Concordia.

The Knights did not trail in the contest and used an 18-3 run—keyed by four Johnson steals—midway through the second half to pull away. Carleton connected on 9-of-15 shots from behind the arc, including 7 of 10 in the first half.

Jeremy Sutherland and Carter Biewen both contributed 11 points for Carleton.

Concordia resturns home to host St. Olaf on Monday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
