ELK RIVER, Minn. (10/11/10)-- Concordia finished off the 2010 fall season by placing seventh at the Twin Cities Classic hosted by Gustavus on Monday. The Cobbers shot a final team score of 915 (302-298-315) and were seven shots out of a top five finish.

Individually the Cobbers were led by junior Pat Deitz who fired a final total of 222 (68-76-78) and was in a tie for 12th place in the final standings. The final meet of the fall season helped Deitz capture the low scoring honors for Concordia for the fall. Deitz finished his 14 total rounds in the fall with a 75.3 stroke average.

Last week's MIAC individual medalist, Andrew Whitchurch, rebounded from an opening round 78 and finished in a tie for 23rd. He shot a 227 (78-72-77) for the three rounds. He also tied for second on the team in scoring average for the fall as he had a 75.8 average for his 14 rounds. Senior Zach Kappes also had a 75.8 average in the fall. He was third on the team at the Twin Cities Classic, finishing just one shot behind Whitchurch at 228.
