JAMESTOWN, N.D. (9/02/09)-- Concordia never got on track in their season opener against Jamestown College on Wednesday and fell 3-0 (21-25, 11-25, 22-25).

The Cobbers were led by sophomore Jenna Green who had a team-high 10 kills and 23 total attacks. No other Concordia player had more than six kills in the match. Katie Vohnoutka had six kills in 18 total attacks. She also had a team-high four digs. Freshman Danelle Loomis had a team-high 14 assists despite playing in only one game.

Jamestown was led by Ali Edwards who posted eight kills to go along with seven digs. Kayla Fee had a match-high 22 assists and Samantha Revering added 11 digs for the Jimmies.

Concordia returns to action on Friday when they host the Cobber Open. CC will play Presentation (S.D.) on Friday, Sept. 4 at 4:30 p.m. and then host Valley City State later that night at 7:30 p.m. Both matches will be in Memorial Auditorium.
