JAMESTOWN, N.D. (10/01/10)-- Depth was not enough for Concordia to overcome the team champion Jamestown College and runner-up Minot State in a narrow three-way battle with five points separating the top three teams at the Jamestown Invtite on Friday.  The 55-57-60 point epic clash came down to the two teams that had front-runners.

The Cobbers placed ten runners in the top 25 which is almost unfathomable in a loss.  Kristy Singlestad once again led the Cobbers. For the fourth straight meet she was the top CC finisher. She claimed sixth place with a time of 19:43.  Nine other Cobbers followed within a minute including team No.2 runner Morgan Christian who finished in 12th place in a time of 20:17.00.
