9/5 Cobbers tie Northland, Win St. John's Tourney

Concordia came away with a 1-1 tie against Northland College today at the St. John's Tourney in Collegeville. The Cobbers won the tournament with their 1-0-1 record.

Concordia's Chad Fancher, who scored two goals in yesterday's 3-0 win over Briar Cliff, scored at 80:18 of regulation today to tie the game. Micah Benson and Chance Buzzell assisted on the goal. Northland had gone ahead 1- 0 at the 45:45 mark on an unassisted goal by Bill Ludwig.

Next up for Concordia is a weekend series at National College in Rapid City, SD, Sept. 10-11.
