Finished 2nd at the Minnesota State Championships. Her two-day total of 164 helped Concordia finish in 2nd place, one shot behind MSU-Mankato.

Shot a two-day total of 168 (85-83) to finish tied for fourth and earn All-State honors.

4/28 Concordia Finishes Second at the Minnesota State Championships.
Concordia lost the team title at the Minnesota State Championships by a single stroke to host MSU-Mankato 667-668. Senior Jenni Kovash (Moorhead, Minn.) fired a 164 (79-85) to finish in second place, six strokes behind medalist Kasey Aanensonx of MSU-Mankato who shot a 158 (81-77). Besides Kovash - Maria Amlen (Sr. Stockholm, Sweden) and Jill Conrad (Fr., Richland, WA) also finished in the top ten to earn All-State honors. Amlen and Conrad finished tied for fourth with identical 168 scores. Liz Meschke (Fr., Pequot Lakes, Minn.) was named the First Year Player of the Year, as she shot a 175 (84-91) for the two-day tournament.

Concordia will travel to Bemidji on Tuesday to play in the Bemidji Spring Meet. They will then wait to see if they will earn a bid to play in the NCAA Division III National Tournament which will be held on May 15-18 in Decatur, Ill..

4/27 Concordia Leads After 1st Day of MN State Championship.
Concordia shot a first round team score of 331, and leads the 10-team Minnesota State Championship by four strokes. The Cobbers were paced by Jenni Kovash (Sr., Moorhead, MN) who shot a 79 and is tied for the first round lead with St. Thomas' Kris Paulson. Rounding out the top four scores for Concordia was Maria Amlen  (Sr. Stockholm, Sweden) with an 83, Liz Meschke (Fr., Pequot Lakes, MN) at 84 and Jill Conrad (Fr., Richland, WA) who shot an 85.
