10/27 Concordia Can't Recover From Road, Loses in Overtime.
Fighting fatigue and a scrappy Bethel team, Concordia lost a season-ending heartbreaker, 2-1 in overtime. The Cobbers were playing their second MIAC game in less than 24 hours, and third in five days. The Royals went ahead in the first half at 21:38 when Elizabeth Swenson took a throw-in deep in Cobber territory, and turned and fired a shot just inside the far post. Concordia finally equalized at 70:20 when first year player Abbey Rabine (St. Louis Park, MN) slammed home a rebound from inside the six yard box.The teams traded scoring chances until late in the second overtime when Bethel's  Angie Gutierrez finished off a counter attack that started at midfield. The loss ends Concordia's season at 3-7 in the MIAC and 8-8 overall.
