9/17 Dragons Edge Viterbo in Overtime.
MSU-Moorhead finally found a way to beat Viterbo goalie Mary Reisdorf after 90 minutes of regulation play and 8 minutes of the overtime period. The two teams played to a scoreless draw in regulation and then in overtime Megan Sawarynski dribbled through the Viterbo defense and slotted home the game-winner. The Dragons held the statistical advantage in every category and had the ball in the Viterbo end for most of the game but couldn't crack the stingy V-Hawk defense. With the win the Dragons move to 5-4 on the year while Viterbo slides to 0-6.
