Cobbers Pound Finlandia 7-2.
Seven different Cobbers scored goals as the Cobbers drubbed Finlandia 7-2 in an exhibition game. The Cobbers scored two goals in the opening minute of the game to set the tone, and scored three goals in each of the first two periods to take a 6-0 lead going into the final period. Finlandia picked up two goals to cut the lead to 6-2, but the Cobbers picked up the last goal and finished the scoring at 7-2. Jason Stephan (Sr., Fauquier, BC) made his first start in goal and stopped 24 of the 26 shots he faced.
