For the second consecutive season Concordia was sent out of their Central Region to play in the Midwest Regional Tournament in the first round of matches in the NCAA Tournament. Concordia will play Lakeland College (Wis.) on Thursday, November 11 at 4:30pm in the first round of the Midwest Regional at the UW-La Crosse. The Cobbers are seeded third in the tournament. The winner of the Concordia/Lakeland match will play #2 UW-Stout (30-4)  on Friday, November 12 at 4:30pm.

Lakeland College is 25-13 on the season and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament by virtue of their win in the championship match of the Lake Michigan Conference (LMC) tournament. Concordia and Lakeland have only one common opponent. Both the Cobbers and the Muskies played UC-Santa Cruz and both teams beat Banana Slugs. Concordia won in three games (30-26, 30-22, 30-27 while Lakleand beat UC-Santa Cruz in four games (30-10, 31-29, 31-33, 30-23).
