ABOUT CONCORDIA FOOTBALL
Concordia-Moorhead football is one of the nation's most highly respected programs, both for its success on the playing field and its commitment to quality education. The Cobbers have won 11 MIAC championships since Jim Christopherson became head coach at Concordia in 1969. The Cobbers most recently won a share of the 1995 MIAC title and a trip to the NCAA Playoffs in 1997.
The Cobbers have won national championships in 1964, 1978, and 1981. Several former Cobbers have gone on to play professional football. But, more importantly, playing football for Concordia is an opportunity to get an outstanding education while playing for a team with a rich tradition of success. The Cobber football program includes a varsity schedule of ten games and a five game junior varsity schedule.
