Coach Jim Christopherson's 1997 pre-season Comments:
Abe labored in relative obscurity for a couple years and suddenly found himself in the stating lineup last year at offensive right tackle. His great size and experience should help make the Cobber offensive line a force to be reckoned with this year.
(Note: Abe Hinderaker's father was an All-Conference lineman at St. Olaf.)
