11/18/97 Jeff Gronner was named 1997 First Team All-MIAC today

10/13/97 Concordia's Jeff Gronner and Ethan Pole were named MIAC Defensive and offensive Players of the Week today.

Jeff played a big part in the 17-7 win over Moorhead State on Sept. 6. Listen to the call of a Gronner tackle in the second quarter 
 
Jeff earned second team All-MIAC football team honors in 1996.

Coach Jim Christopherson's 1997 pre-season Comments:

Jeff is entering his second year as a starting defensive tackle for the Cobbers and it should be a banner year.  The quickest defensive lineman on the team, he is a great pass rusher and, through hard work on the weights, has become a strong run defender as well.
