Competion keen in menís tennis

The men's tennis team concluded its 1980 season with 13 wins and 10 losses overall and a 5-4 record in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Coached by Bob Nick, the squad found competition stiff this season but still managed to finish above .500. In addition, two players qualified for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics District 13 competition at Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minn. They were Craig Dejong from Alexandria, Minn., and Mark Jordahl of Austin, Minn.

Only three seniors will be lost from the starting lineup: Roger Ragen and John Snustad of Moorhead and Steve Gabrielson from Litchfield, Minn.

Rodger Hagen (10), Moorhead, was  one of three seniors on this year's  men's tennis team.
