Initiated one year ago, the Concordia soccer team ended their 1982 season with a 0-5-1 win-loss-tie record. This year the team finished with an improved 8-5-2 standing.
In the MIAC tournament hosted by Carleton and St. Olaf colleges of Northfield,
Minn., Nov. 4-5, the Cobbers lost their opening game to the Macalester
Scots 1-0, but defeated the Gustavus Gusties 2-1 in their final game to
finish fifth in the MIAC out of six teams. Three players were named to
the all-MIAC team. They are sophomore Judy Anderson from Lake Elmo, Minn.;
freshman Vicki Kastner from Richfield, Minn.; and senior Elizabeth Temple
from Tulsa, Okla.
