1998 Preview: The Cobbers, coming off a 7-11 season in 1997 , open their 1998 schedule against Briar Cliff September 5th at 4:00 at the St. John's tournament. Junior Allison Smith ('00, Moorhead) is back after an All-MIAC season in 1997 as a sophomore. Also back on the 1998 roster and expected to lead are Jordi Kortan ('01, Moorhead) and Julie Fretheim ('00, Bloomington). Both earned honorable mention All-MIAC honors in 1997.
