Head Coach Julie Lucier

Julie Lucier, a 1992 Concordia graduate, was named Concordia's head Women's Swimming coach in June of 1999. She succeeded Connie Kirchoffner, who coached from 1996-1999.

During her time as head coach, Lucier has driven the swimming and diving program to new heights in talent, level of competition and quantity of swimming and diving athletes. She has coached one All-American and numerous All-MIAC performers. In March of 2001 she guided Shana Letnes to her second All-American swimming performance. All of the current school records have been set during Lucier’s tenure as coach. 

Julie, originally from Litchfield, MN, served as the head girls swimming coach at Marshall (MN) High School from 1994-1999. 

Julie also taught mathematics in the Marshall school system from 1993 to 1999. From 1992-1993 she was a math and computer teacher in the Climax (MN) school system. While at Concordia as a student, Lucier served as a coach for the Moorhead Marlins Swim Club (1991-1992).

Julie lives in Moorhead with her husband Scott and two children Tyson and Jordyn.
