Meet Recap:

MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/6/10)-- Concordia used their overall team depth to go undefeated at the annual Cobber Duals Meet and win the team title for the first time since 2006. The Cobbers went 6-0 on the day and, in the process, beat teams from NCAA DI, DII and NAIA schools.

Concordia's closest outcome of the day was against Jamestown College where the Cobbers won 98.0-82.0. CC also beat MSU Moorhead 92.0-78.0, Dickinson State 114.0-63.0, UM-Morris 117.0-44.0 and NDSU 111.0-45.0.

A pair of Cobber sophomores posted the best individual results of the day. Tessa Comstock recorded a height of 10-0.00 in the pole vault and finished sixth in the event. That height ties a personal best for Comstock and is the fifth best in program history. Tatijana MullerDahlberg won the triple jump for the second straight against a top-notch field and continues to show that she has the ability to be one of the top triple jumpers in the conference.

MullerDahlberg was the lone Concordia event winner for the meet. The Cobbers did have five top 3 finishes on the day and six more top 5 finishes.

The Cobber field crew provided three of the five top 3 finishes on the day. Besides Mueller Dahlberg in the triple jump, Tara Ray finished second in the long jump with a mark of 16-04.25 and Emily Davis had a runner-up finish in the weight throw with a distance of 46-08.75. The other top 3 finishes were turned in by Maddie Covington in the 1000 meters and Kristin Slette in the 800 meters. Covington raced to a 3:22.66 while Slette posted a finishing time of 2:28.00

The Ranum sisters had a pair of top 5 finishes for the Cobbers. Ruth Ranum ran a 65.85 and finished fifth in the 400 meters and little sister Emma clocked a personal-best time of 1:52.60 in the 800 meters and also posted a fifth-place finish.
