The drama for the game on Saturday played out in the final five minutes in regulation and into the overtime period. Trailing 1-0 with less than five minutes to play in the third period, Cobber sophomore Kit Hollway finally got CCC on the board with 4:38 left in regulation. In the overtime period, Concordia pulled goalie Maddie Haroldson in order to try and come away with a win in the final game of the regular season. The tactic lasted for :39 seconds until the Tommies were able to get a 2-on-0 break and Taylor Schluter converted the tap in for the game-winning goal at the 3:44 mark of the extra frame.

Concordia outshot St. Thomas in the first, third and overtime periods and finished with the 14-shot advantage in shots on goal. Cobber senior goalie Maddie Haroldson finished her career in maroon and gold by stopping 28 of the 29 shots she faced.
