MOORHEAD, Minn. (11/20/09)--Concordia wasted little time in making Ridgewater a little speck in the rear view mirror in their dual meet on Friday in Moorhead. The No.8-ranked Cobbers won the first eight matches of the dual meet, sped out to a 25-0 lead and cruised home with a 38-3 victory. The win is the sixth straight for Concordia to start the season.

Ridgewater loses their season-opening dual meet after participating in a pair of multiple-team invitationals.

Against the Warriors, Concordia had one pin fall, one technical fall and three major decisions and won nine of the 10 individual matches. The Cobbers have now only dropped three individual matches in their last four team dual meets. During that time the Cobbers have compiled a 37-3 record.
